What's your average MPG

go on then guys, what MPG do you get in your car (not what the book says you might/can get, but what you get driving it daily)

On the run, the xsi does a pretty respectable 38mpg, if I boot it or drive through towns that drops to a thirsty 14mpg.

my golf ranges from 40+ on a nice steady ride, to 16 around town.

but on an overtake boot never goes less thn 22 only goes 6.8 if im going owards 120 + srt of speeds haha

Apparently I'm doing about 25 mpg on a good run (About a tenner from Lampeter to Aber and back).

Although if I want to have fun, I will haveto pay almost double that.

mines about 25-30 me driving tidy not bad for a 2.8

and on motorways ill get like 35

but ive had it down to 6 ooops

I got caught up in some floods up here in the Lake District a couple of weeks back.

Best i've had was 45, but that was convoying to trax at 4am at 60mph and no traffic, average is about 34 ish

65-75 how ever i drive

tenner will get me from carmarthen to aber, then back to llanllwni, then back to aber...thats 130 miles

I dunno.... out of a full tank (bout 50 litres) i can get up to 320miles (drivin sensible) and down to 142miles (slightly less sensible)! Gettin expensive now peeps

no idea but from llanybydder to swansea and back cost me £20

by my calculations i'm sitting there at high 40's / low 50's

circa 530 miles to a tank, (55L)

averaging 25mpg, thats a bit round town, and back roads as a few trips to haverfordwest etc, thats using vtec as well but only as and when not caning it, will clock it on a good run as well, also try and clock it on run of the mill petrol as that was on vpower, reckon i might be getting slightly more mpg on vpower but wouldnt mind seeing if its enough to cover the extra cost.

50+ if I'm good.

I heard someone say that too... that the 2.0 straight six uses more petrol because it has to work harder

If i sit at 90 it stays on 50.

It's rare that I ever get that though, mine seems to guzzle it. Sometimes I'll get 150 miles to £20 then others I'll get 70 miles.

My fuel guage needs sorting though as half the time, It'll say I have a full tank when the fuel light comes on.

On a long run (aber to swansea) about 40mpg, that was doing 80 in 4 speed, so i can't complain

about 20 around town

and if i a rape it reckon it'd get down to like 8

It's somewhat fun, I got 25 mile to £10 earlier.. won't be using it for a while now as I've smashed my sump
