| Thats how it currently is. The bumper is in yellow primmer because when I bought it the previous owner managed to hit it in the snow back in january, so it was all scratched. I have repaired the scratches (or dad did) but now I'm just waiting for the right weather to paint it. The immidiate next plan though is to fit new rear wheel cylinders, then get the painting done, and clean the bloody thing. More pics on the way. | |

| Looks alright, front bumper deffo needs spraying though lol! I had a mk3 fiesta which was really quite modified. If you are after any bits let me know, install (well boot build), bodykit which should fit, rs seats etc. Are you planning to modify it a fair bit or keep it quite standard? | |

| Modify it, a little bit (can't do much cause of insurance premiums), a few simple bits like de badging, etc but we'll see how it goes, just get all the maintanance stuff sorted first. The bumper will be done as soon as the weather gets better. | |

| Who are you insured with? I had an Frst replica when I was 18 and it barely cost more to insure than the standard car. | |

Most insurance policies only do drive another vehicle for when you are over 25, and some are now saying 'only in an emergency'. If you crash the insurance company might question why your farther has such a modified vehicle - remember, insurance companies arnt stupid! At 17 I was paying £1,400 on a £400 1 liter fiesta mk3, has it really gone up loads since then? Its worth asking your insurance company what different extras would cost to insure. I was always on the phone doing this and its a good way to find out what you can/ cant do without getting rapped for more insurance monies. Anyway, back to topic, when you do the cylinders and shoes you probibly want to repaint the backing disks (the bit they all attach to) as these can rust quite bad. When I did mine I took off the whole beam and repainted it. You can also check for warn bushes ect as this will have a big impact on your cars handling but not cost much to replace nor effect your insurance premium. Brake lines are a good call, but dont bother with braided hoses, at this level they are more hastle than they are worth. | |

| No, being done on the driveway with the help of my dad. The rear lines were replaced for the last MOT but I will give them a look over, as with all the other bits so thanks for the advice people. More pics soon hopefully. | |

| Well we are part done and its turned into a right nightmare of a job! The 2 nuts you have to undo on the backplate are that rounded you cant get a spanner on them, and there is no room for a socket either, so on one side dad just hammered the shit out of it and it came off, and now he cant get the new one back on! The joys of motoring! | |
