Yep, saw it in lidl. OK if you want a helment to get you onto track, but personaly I wouldnt trust it in a shunt. How much do you price your noggin? Myself, more than that!

I wouldnt trust it to save my life, but for the sake of having one to be alowed on a track, I'd happily use one. the flip face is a good idea - I hate constantly taking my helmet on and off to eat/drink waiting in line, and then rushing to get it back on before i get on the track

Because I doubt its an approved helmet. I cant remember if its BSA or FIA or what. Ask Sith, hes spent millions on helmets lol

Yeah, note the wording on the site, There's a definite lack of FIA/SNELL/SHARP rating or any other EU/US ratings. also, no where do I see "motorcycle/car helmet" or "ok for road use". Wording on it seems a bit suss.

Also, anyone who would trust their head inside a £40 helmet, probably doesn't need a helmet as there's nothing needed to protect...

as a comparison, I paid ~£300 for my last certified full face helmet.

Don't like the words cheap and helmet in the same sentance, think what that helmet is protecting, if you can't afford a decent safe helmet, save up or borrow one, its your head you are trying to protect, can't put a price on that. And while I'm here don't even think about bike helmets either, they aren't designed for it.

iv no idea about using a bike helemt for drfiting, as above it may not be designed for it but thats not up to me to say, if your looking at bike helmets to be used try this link with what your looking at, i have found some of the cheaper helmets actually score better than some of the more expensive ones, some times you can pay more for the design than the actually quality of the helmet, pretty sure i found one on here a while ago priced at 50 ish quid and it had similar scores to a lot more expensive helmsts.
