...and kepd as a daily drive as Iv got my hands on this!

Its a VW Nova. Rear engine RWD. Built back in the 70s so quite rare. Based on a Beetle chassis so lots of options available.

The wheels on it are genuine formula 3000 wheels so quite wide.

The engine is a 1.6 flat four from a beelte, but that needs a major rebuild so thinking of going the water cooled direction ei scooby or ford v6.

These can be beautiful cars. This wont be a fast project, but defo one to keep an eye on Wink

cheers mate, wont be a fast project by any means as funds will limit speed as this will be no cutting corners, but now i do have more funds coming it seemed silly to turn the offer down.

Just spending time reading up on gearbox/engine options and combinations to get the best from it I can. Problem is most owners of these have them to poodle around the country side at 40mph...well i want it to go how it looks!

If you have and hints and tips feel free to send them my way

It's surprising how fast they are with a 1.6 beetle engine, because of the gearing mine would pis all over an RS 2000 up to 100mph
