someone help me fit the clutch on the supra please

right here is where i stand atm, got no job right now !! but hopefully start a new one next week, but this means i am skint!! theres like less than 3 weeks to awesomefest and the supra is still off the road! needs a new clutch fitting, ive got the clutch but ive never fitted one before, ive looked up "how to" guides but im still a bit hmmmm bout doing it on my own, id really appreciate it if someone would help me fit this as i wana learn but a little guidance would be awesome, and i havent got that much tools either. and one more thing, the cars at my girlfriends house so will need to be towed like a mile and a half to mine. like i said im skint so i cant afford to pay anyone right now but gimmie a couple of weeks till im sorted again nd im sure i can sort summin out! please any help

I had this problem when I needed a clutch fitted with time to put miles on before a drift day - finding someone to help you out with a job like that is hard - I had to pay someone to do it.

Problem is its usually an expensive job too because you gotta get the gearbox off to do it, no one enjoys trying to push gearboxes back into engine bays

hmmmm, i aint got money atm to pay someone to fit it and i badly wana drive it to awesomefest

How bad is it slipping?

not slipping anymore its completly gone!! tried moving it bout a month ago and it just wouldnt go into gear, box is fine but the clutch pedal might aswell be through the firewall lol

find me a guide man, cant be that hard, surely

As far as I'm aware its just taking the gearbox off, taking the old clutch off it, putting the new one on, then putting it back together, but its like half day work for an experienced person I think

clutches can be complete cunts..
had to basicly take the whole front end of a mk4 mondeo to bits to get at one the other week

ye he said on fb he cud help out, wouldnt need to take much of tho cuz its more exposed cuz of rwd init blud

surly you can jack it up, drop the gearbox in a trolly jack, fit the clutch, jack the box back up and slot it on

lets get the beer in and tools out!

ive thought i could but im doubting my skills before i start! thing is cars at lauras, so unless i move it , there wont be any beer drunk there lol

dont see why not, im sure the derv can pull it, il pick the towbar up tonight, lent it to my gfs dad so will get it tonight
