some updates, started off by painting my carriers black to make them look better, then painted my calipers gold!



And thanks to mr postman I now have this rather large stack of parts on my drive...time to get the tools out

awsome now get them on before ultimate dubs lol

calipers definatly need another coating.. or 2

na tis the paints dodgy, old it is and came out a marble affect lmao

Its getting there, what discs are they? Black diamond? Brembo?

na just unbranded but they will do the job perfectly well

heres the difference between my old brakes and new



then a test fit of them with the merc wheels (also a sneaky peak for them who havnt seen them yet)



good thing i need adaptors as these calipers touch the wheel slightly

looks nice. See what you mean about the marble effect!

just waiting on a plastic clip from the dealers so I can fit my vr6 master cylinder, as there is quite a size difference, standard on the left, vr6 on the right. But need to change the servo so it fits...so glad my dash is out lol



it will be cleaned up etc before fitting, and what a fun place to get at it is!

few updates, right pain in the arse that servo was to fit! and to strip the whole of the rear of the engine to get it out, poost pipes, vacuum lines, brake pipes, pright pain...its done now anyway, also new brakes are on, and power steering rack is off, also a right pain, and new one being fitted tonight then its all fixed and ready for mot!

you still need to paint it tho..

as this is now back on the road its now back to work! as Iv had to change a headlight the laminx was removed so both sides matched, but now i think it looks stupid with clear lenses, so ordered the stuff to black them out again, but this time not laminx...they will be matt black this time!

also got a new splitter coming as mine was broken as the plastic is brittle as a glass hammer, but the one coming is flexable so thatl be that problem solved!

well i suppose i could add another pic, as you know i had bit of a bump, and managed to fix it quite well! as you can see theres just a few scratches, and the grill doesnt sit right but thats because the clips broke but that will be fixed.

also in the pic you can see i have my lows back, and now have matt black headlights!

okey dokey, plans for this are finaly moving forward, some may have seen my facebook and have an idea whats going down, but for the rest of you...heres my writeup!

Found myself a dirt cheap vento which has had a front ender...perfect!



so first things first...interior out



some may cringe now...grinder time





it resulted in this...





we now have a vento in two halfs



reason being, adam wanted the front half



and i wanted the rear end and it is now sat in my garage!



and for those who say there isnt enought modified cars on here...this altered enough from standard for your liking?
