| ok so i ran off the codes doing the paper clip test and it brought these up 0100 - maf sensor 0130 - HEGO 0433 - Tank Vent Valve so hopeing to get these sorted/replaced over the next 2-3 weeks. so decided to hack away at thelid of my standard airbox to make a enclosure for my induction kit, and when the tank vent valve was replaced it could go go back on the side of the airbox nice and safe... I cut away at the corner of the airbox where the trunking would normally go through, i couldnt use the box as it was as i have put a larger bore pipe on, its not pretty but the cut cannot be seen from the front of the engine bay anyway. I have done the lid in primer ready for it to be sprayed the same black as the car and laquered so it will be a little shiney haha not perfect or pretty but its some kind of enclosed induction as the standard cold air feed tubes are still pumping into it | |

| white led festoon interior light fitted small plain black sunstrip fitted ---------------------------------------------------------------------- pic of colour coded grill old new ---------------------------------------------------------------------- after speaking to guys on VVOC (vauxhall vectra owners club) they all seem to want/have the ram air js-108 induction kit which is meant for the R32 golf's. So decided to go on the hunt for one. ebay throws them up new for 80 -100 quid each, people on the forums want around 50+ for them. Grabbed this weeks free ads and what do i see... a JS-108 induction kit for sale in Newport for £15. So after a trip to Newport and back i have myself a new induction kit and the ghetto ass enclosed filter system is gone! Now my old air filter was a cheap-o thingy but it came off my corsa redtop, but it was the size i was recomended for the c20xe engine (redtop). Now the air filters for my engine in the veccy are tiny, almost half the size of the one i had on there. old air filter can be seen here old air filter out new air filter both air filters together for size comparison necks tops guy threw in a nice free piece of samco hosing put together it is now in the car but it was too dark for pics dimentions of the new air filter are Neck: 80mm Base Width: 200mm Filter Height: 150mm Top Width: 150mm Neck Length: 60mm its bloody HUGE | |

| illuminated grab handles fitted illuminated sun visors fitted 5 LED side lights fitted white led festoon rear number plate lights fitted ------------------------------------------------------------------------ short shift fitted today, no point in putting pix up as it looks exactly like the standard one in a veccy but its 1.5 - 2" shorter somewhere along the lines i have missed out that i have tinted my rear lights and side repeaters too. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- gave the car a clean today so went to grab some pics. Got a little dirty on the journey though | |

| went to fit my remus centre secion today and managed to snap two bolts that hold the cat to the centre pipe ??? not happy. Cat is currently held up with some wire just to hold it off the floor. Hopefully this will be sorted 2moro afternoon. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- a friend came up a few days ago to show me his freshly repainted wheels on his cally dtm and randomly offered me a led strip he bought. 6 white leds inline on a board, so i replied with "if its free, give it to me". So i sat in the car today pondering where i could put this strip, i already have a white led festoon bulb in my courtesy light so didnt need it there, so it dawned on me, the cubby hole and as it turned out there are already two holes at the back of the cubby hole i could slip the board through anyway. so i simply blu tacked the board in place (well my mrs did because i couldnt get my hand far enough down (damn short fat hands lol) ) few mins later i was left with this... its wired into the courtesy light so it comes on and off with that light and dims out too. | |

| remus centre pipe all fitted went for a rolling road day with vectra owners club and here are my print outs my model of veccy makes 113bhp as standard (so made up 5bhp off a cat back and induction, not bad as i was expecting standard power after allowing for loss over the years) video of my car on the rollers Vectra sxi on the rolling road------------------------------------------------------------------------- car is now sporting a custom made black velvet battery bag with a quilted top and fuse cover the same. Irmscher double d backbox instead of the 5". pics of the battery bag and fuse box covers and some snow pics and my engine bay URL stickers (sorry for the shocking state of these pics) | |

GSi boot springs (apparently stronger) fitted and mine were weak and the boot was dropping down. plastic cowling which covers the wiring in the boot that runs up the arms to the rear lights added. headlight control switch with front fog light switch added. preface Gsi spoiler (exactly the same as the one i have now but has a brake light) not fitted yet but i do have it in my possession ready to go on as soon as i get some shorter bolts

| i have decided to stop plowing cash into my veccy, well im going to finish my sticker bombing, get leds for my angel eyes and get my soft stars back on when its time to renew tyres, then thats it.
going to start putting money away for a V6 veccy instead, hopefully a estate for sound system reasons but if not it will deffo be another veccy. Insurance is only £100 extra a year to go from a 4 pot 1.8 16 valve to a 2.5 24 valve V6
