| Right, everyone around this area has Nurburgring stickers on their cars... no one even has the piss taking "neverbeen" ones. And I'm fairly sure none of these people have been there in their chav wagons. So I designed a sticker of a circuit from back home... Elan Valley! What you guys think? It has a mild resemblence to the nurburgring shape too. | |

| Just had a small victory on my part...
about a week after buying the car the cable for the passenger window broke, I bought a new mechanism around February and it just sat behind my passenger seat for months. I couldn't be arsed replacing it because you haveto take out the windows and all that shit.
Anyway, it just took me fuck all time to replace it, and im really chuffed, coz roof down and windows up looks stupid, and causes some sort of vacuum that over 60 takes every bit of loose paper etc. out of your car and onto the windscreen of the person behind.

| Right, fixed a few little things on the car - also decided to put these spiffing new wheels on! I got 5 of them with good tread on, all for £30! Bargains! (dont worry, my car didnt do that wee... its my girlfriends car, so thats fine) So yeah, while my car is busy looking shit, I'm having another go at these bloody wheels. I've put it off because I live in a top floor flat now, and have no outside area where I can paint shit. I decided the living room was a good substitute. I'm hoping this time I can do a good job of it, no annoying little chip marks under the paint like before... lets hope at least, I'm impatient. | |

| Oh and you lot may have seen this pic roaming around the web - Fenrich took a pic of our 5's parked up on a corner. Theres no drifting involved, but a driftworks admin posted it in a pic of the day thread. Its been all over tumblr too lol! 5 + 5 = 10? by F3NRICH, on Flickr | |

| Right, so i chucked the primer on and could still see some marks in the paint... so i sanded the fuck out of them, and chucked more primer on... this is the way to do it right? I guess the proper way is to get that special primer that fills the gaps... but I dont get paid till the end of the month, and im painting my wheels now... so I hope im doing it right. | |

| tcut is an abrasive polish, why polish twice? and why polish a brand new surface? just asking
imo just wax em with a nice durable wax. or buy a dedicated wheel sealant. only way theyre staying white fo sho'

| I did it with what I had available, I dont have the funds to buy anything at all lol. So I only used 240 sandpaper, left over primer, and the white paint and laquer I bought before I moved.
I dont have tcut, I did however have some metal polish that seemed to do the trick. Even though the wheels had an inch of laquer on, the surface still wasnt really shiny enough - so i used an abraisive polish on the surface, just to cut in enough to smooth out the way the laquer had made it a little bumpy

| the only thing i would have done is a wet and dry sandpaper rub between coats, but saying that, its a pretty good finish! better job than i did anyway looking good babez | |

| yea man, was doing it on the cheap though. I got two more to go, if I get a longer contract for my job, then ill get out the hi build primer, proper sandpaper grades and the tcut too.
Each time I do it, I get a little bit better at it - at some point I wanna paint them cream instead lol

| yeah the tcut woulda been to take away the orange peel in the laquer and flat it back a bit.. then polish over it to bring the shine back out
everyone has there own little methods
