been lookin in to engine mods that im gona do soon and belive it or not she should be runnin 150hp by the time im done which will cost me bout 200 quid so i can take her down the strip at santa pod in june

1.6 head port polished and skimmed with 1.4 bottom end, fuel regulator and egr valve delete should be about 150-160 bhp with the 1.4 gearbox on aswel she'll fly bottom end and also 1.6 throttle bodie and injectors and maybe a racing clutch

found set of lowering springs should be picking them up this week and ne back box cus the huge one on now is really quiet so puttin lil bike back box on

wats your point??? 90bhp as standar plus ram air induction kit and decat and backbox roughly 105bhp?? 1.6 head + 15-20 bhp then throttle bodie and injectors 15-20 oh sorry 140bhp then!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hat ecu are you planning on running this on?

I'm with sith on this one, I think you'll find it hard to see 140bhp with those mods, realisticly about 125bhp I would say.

think im gna run standard 1.4 brain ive been told will work well theres a 1.4 almera runnin 1.6 throttle body and injectors with decat induction kit ect and thats bin dyno'd at 120bhp

I used to have an Almera gti which is a 2ltr, and I think that was only 140bhp

ok well less of this u cant do it crap! and let me see how it turns out either way im gaining powerits just a matter of how much

we're not saying you can't do it, we're just dubious of the claimed power figures, also if you're going to do these mods, i'd say get the ecu sorted, either a remap or an AEMS or it's not going to put out anywhere near it's potential, no way the standard 1.4 brain would deal with it.

yh is going to be remapped i think u should do some research into ca14 engines and srd20e as allot of skylines have the same engine as an almera gti so ive been told this is and ca14 is the nissan 1.4 twin cam 16v engine which ive got which can take 250bhp
