had to get rid of the van, the insurance was killing me.... budget replacement arrived this week

she's rough as fuck, but its only her skin

quick wash and a once over with autoglym paint renovator and we're looking healthier


another wash and an actual polish when the weather is dry again

dogs still go in but for longer journeys to shows, the passenger chair shall come out.


plans are respray the back end and fit some doorcards to at least give the impression of civilisation up front. other than that just maintain and enjoy

is there some diesel staining i need to be aware of? i'm not gonna push her hard up there anyway. i dont buy into the illusion of being faster on track. if i wouldnt do it on the road i wont do it there either. i just think it'll be fun to go up the hill. im not particularly worried though, she's not even close to being the fastest car ive had. i'm not a silly little boy, despite the beach skids

Just pulling your leg mate , are you coming to RR then? if so are you on a stand?

yes, me, silentdice, charnock, and possibly sith are gonna be there. possibly on the west and wales RR stand, but nobody seems to want to get back to me with if it'll stop us going on the hill. do you know? do we just put our names down and blindly follow?

You don't have to do anything to go up the hill, just sign up on sunday morning.
you just park on the stand, then drive to the hill at your aloted time

It's a lot more relaxed than a normal car show, just turn up pay for your entry and drive onto the stand, just get your names down on the list on the RR thread.

EDIT: I see you've already posted on there. are you coming down on the day or are you camping?

coming down on the day. camping tickets are sold out, plus i need my creature comforts in my old age

I'm going down on the friday, half the fun is the day before the show
