I took the scoop off today to rub it down ready for some more paint, and while it was off I decided to get the angle grinder out,and now I have a cold air feed to the air filter. (I'll tidy it all up and seal around the opening before the scoop goes back on)

Lol...at the end of the day, it's only 4 bolts to change the bonnet, and it's only an old banger at the end of the day

Tell me about it, once I've finished moving things around in there I may try and tidy it all up, but I'm not one for shiny bling engine bays, as long as it all works, it will do....lol

I think it was my first or second run, the track was damp and I was taking it easy whilst I got a feel for the grip. After that run i just thought "fuck it" and just went balls out
