| ah thats where ur wrong pingu, its a rebore to 2064cc , crank out of a m47, m3 pistons, v6 injector system and a few other bits - the pistons need 3mm taken off the top as well as a small ammount on the crank stem, block bored to 86mm with a decent setup and its its all done properly kicking out somwhere in the 200hp bracket! for a bit money but a lot of work work i dont mind! its the money im a bit short of! its all ive been reading up on all month since i showed you that article on the flywheel upgrade with the 325 flywheel and clutch and a prop/diff upgrade ill be a very happy chappy! im just costing it all at the moment! |

| it uses the standard rods out of the m42 engine with the crank take 3-4mm one end of the shaft so u dont loose a lot on the balance its just to make it fit snug/better without any friction, same with the pistons 3mm off the top so they dont go too high. i kno its guna cost me about £1000 - £1500 to do everything including rolling road remap. but tbh i think having a 318is running 200bhp+ would be sweet. ye it would be easyer to stick a 2ltr strait 6 in or even larger. but wheres the fun or imagination in that! |
