| 55MPG on the run, gonna remap it and should be able to push that higher. Main reason for getting it is the fuel, will save me £260 a month in fuel alone | |

| Nice! I'd ditch that wood trim on the dash if it were me, but what are your plans (even daily drivers need to be modified)? | |

| I think hes lowering it and doing some mods for extra economies. Have no idea what those mods would be... fibreglass nose cone to make it more aerodynamic maybe. Solar pannels on roof. | |

| Lol, the wood aint too bad, plans at the moment: fit new mirror switch - ordered fit new cup holders - ordered Going to remap it, not aiming for power tho, look into side skirts and lowering it to decrease airflow under the car and thus drag. Also looking into larger rolling radius and how it'll effect the economy, if it helps some larger rims could be on the cards too Main reason for the car is a workhorse tho and to save fuel for the weekends | |

| I'v done exactly the same thing, £100 a week in petrol for the Volvo was a killer, so I bought a 52 plate Mondeo, which takes £25 of diesel a week. | |

| You old men can afford 'to' have more than one car though... Thats why I'm stuck with a car that is both uneconomical and slow | |

| sounds like a plan ollie, have u thought about making up some sort of diffuser? to aid airflow underneath? maybe blocking off vents in bumper you dont need, or binning the back seats ot something? also, ive heard somewhere that what tyres u go for can affect fuel economy? u can get michelin fuel savers, dno how much difference ud see though! and mick, you may have only one car, but who has the most fun in theirs? | |

| yeah i'll be looking at a diffuser in the future, it already has a flat bottom which helps a lot, will look into vent blocking and stopping the air going in when i've found some skirts yeah tyres can help as can PSI, thinner wheels, things like that. but i aint that obsessed yet | |

| looks good. I envy your wood trim lows would go a long way to having it look good. Just less arch gap and i think that will look really nice. | |

| Yeah i considered the 130 too but the 115 came up at a decent price and there's f/a difference between the two apart from about £1k in cost. | |

| is there no difference? same turbo's? you've obviously considered a re-map, what does it put it up to? | |

| the 130 is slightly remapped but is the same turbo and head as the 115, apparently it has the 150 bottom end. However a remap on the 115 without any breathing or charge cooling mods would yield 40 - 50 extra horses and 80 - 90lb-ft, taking it to about 160hp and 290lb-ft. | |
