small update, mate came round to do some welding and its looking pretty good considering that i am working outside and dont have a bench or vice haha






also changed my grill again but think ill be going us spec jetta and then eventually rallye , so i cleaned up this grill and polished rear lights as i was fed up of seeing masking tape each day haha





negative and posative feed back welcom haha biggest update will be when i do the passanger leg, and when ive fibre glassed and fillerd some parts


might update rest of the build but this is wat i gt up to last night nd this morning

wait till its all smoothed and painted, need some more supplies

actually wait till its all smoothed with the engine in it

going for a contrastin coulor in the bay?
or sumin special like multi coulored walls?

hmm well teh whole cars gettin painted in an audi colour (lava grey) and probs the bays going same colour, few polished parts nd few painted crackle black, ,,,,nom nom

is that that textured stuff that takes about 3 days to dry properly?

itl be what my interior of my mk4 was painted in

bit more progress, engines been sold (but using tht oney fr coilies fr the audi ) and gt filler need some fibreglassing compund and ill begin on the bay, pasenger side leg (nasty one) is looking much better now, and with few structul pieces its stronger than ever and not even fully welded yet

will post pics once i start the process

A bad attempt at fixing the numberplate on maybe

smoothing the tailgate by lokoks of it, so have removed everything ready for welding and coverd up holes etc with gaffa tape?

just a guess thoigh?

there wer tiny rust , so since no garage i gt ductape to stop water coming in fr now

dont like smoothed tailgates on m2 but it will be made smaller so i can have US plate on rear
