20v Turbo S3

Thought i would start a sort of project log to keep track of my progress and post pics.

anyway...

2001 Audi S3 225bhp facelift
Ming blue with half leathers and half blue alacantra
6CD changer
cruse control
etc.....

This is when i first got it...













and then one next to my old megane coupe

one of the first bits i bought and probably the best and most used bit.

its a diagnostic port reader to be used with vagcom.





anyone who has a vw/audi before 2004 ish. i recommend they get one of these. think it set me back £10 ish and version 409.1 of vagcom is free-ish.

works great on a3/s3 anf mk4 golfs

2 more of my S3 and Megane

seen that megane around a fair bit but i forget where,,,,

cool, use to be in Aberystwyth but sold it about 2 years ago now. seen it appear on ebay a few times.

will probaby start another thread soon about the megane. that was one major project with the wide arch kit

I remember seeing that megane around too! I used to love it, but seeing it again I think my tastes have changed.

haha, missing a few polishing pads but thats most of it. gathered a good collection over the years

lucky b****** takes ages to wax the car. i do it once with midnight sun then zymol carbon for protection

polishing makes me feel ill....

Didnt sound harsh, everyone has different tastes, the world would be boring otherwise. My tastes have changed. S3 is pretty standard on the outside no flashy kits just tweeks under the hood

and ye shit loads of detailing stuff. Just wish i could keep my car clean longer than a day. These roads are so shity, good for driving but shit for mucking up the car.

managed to snap a front spring and rear. so instead of buying a replacement part i thought i may aswell buy a lowering kit. its a wietec kit and lowers the s3 by 25mm. the s3 are 25mm lower than an a3 as standard so over all a drop of 50mm.

i would like to go lower, but i live down a farm track and the car already scraps going down it.

weitec stuff is shit hot though, nice one!

ye the weitec kit has been great. solid build, not too hard that it breaks your back but stiff enough to throw it into any corner without it felling like a boat.

these are the parts i bought. a new 12v socket which will be located behind the dash so the road angel can be hard wired without cutting the cable and some cable

no not much use. used to do silly milage and saved my licence a few times.

1 trip to norwich, saved me 5 times. bloody cameras. M6 toll was fun though, great feeling when you time it right and race out of the toll booth with a 306 gti and something else.
